RPL ENTRY INTO THE FINAL YEAR OF THE BA (HONS)/BSC (HONS) IN
INTEGRATIVE COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY
INTRODUCTION:
A degree qualification is frequently sought by employers, and this
programme will support you in enhancing your existing qualification
and making the transition to Level 8 on the NFQ. Using Recognition of
Prior Learning (RPL), learners who hold a Diploma/Level 7 in
Counselling and Psychotherapy can apply for advanced entry into our BA
(Hons)/BSc (Hons) Degree.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE:
The programme is delivered through highly interactive teaching and
learning methods i.e., through role-play, lectures, group-work and
audio/video presentations. For this year, learners can choose between
the BA (Hons) Degree and the BSc (Hons) Degree.
* BA (HONS) BLOCK ? **Apply on the website**BA Block format and
fully face-to-face. Classes will take place Friday evening and all day
Saturday & Sunday once a month in the Tallaght campus.?This is the
last time the BA (Hons) final year will be offered.
* BSC (HONS) BLOCK ? **Apply on the website**BOL We have one fully
online block of fourth year.
* BSC (HONS) BLOCK ? **Apply on the website**B1 Blended learning
Block. Classes will take place Friday evening and all day Saturday &
Sunday once a month and the programme rotates between online and
onsite each month.
* BSC (HONS) SATURDAY ? **Apply on the website**S Weekly option
Blended. Classes will take place each Saturday, rotating weekly
between onsite and online.?
WHO SHOULD APPLY: RPL Entry is available for qualified therapists who
hold a professionally recognised Diploma in Counselling and
Psychotherapy or a Level 7 Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
